Dragons

Whereas the gods maintain the prevailing philosophic orientations of their elements, the dragons represent their own philosophic interpretations; those which prevailed in dragon society before the elemental consolidations. These draconic interpretations color the proliferation of the elements in Nyra in major ways.

The "archons" listed are daemons that have the same aspect as the dragon in question or one which is nearly identical, and this fact empowers the daemon. It is assumed that, if the dragons died, they would either consume their archon's soul or the archon would consume the dragon's soul.
