Magic is available to character at creation.


Mages are those that have accumulated magic in their blood. They have learned to manipulate a part of their brain that allows them to manifest the magical plane into reality at the whim of their consciousness called the Eye of Arkhan, acting as a vibrational source which turns their body into an antenna for their element. Because of this unique power, however, there is much fear and bigotry against them in different places of the world. They are divided, fundamentally, into six different elements. They are Chaos, Plasma, Gas, Liquid, Solid, and Order. 

The role of the mage in the group is diverse and so difficult to summarize. Depending on which element the mage, they may provide support to the rest of the group, modifying and magnifying the abilities of others, changing the tides of battle in ways both subtle and dramatic. They may also be the group's primary source of damage, able to kill entire groups of enemies in a single spell, or destroy colossal creatures with waves of annihilation. They are also the most proficient healers in the game, able to reverse wounds that would otherwise kill the characters. Despite all of these possible benefits, however, they are also the most fragile characters in the game. Mages become weaker physically the stronger their magic becomes, meaning they must be careful not to put themselves in harms way unnecessarily, even as they become capable of greater and greater feats.
